Some of my favorite dramas are the ones with more than one Johnny, especially if it’s a senior/junior pairing…Sometimes the right pairing could be magic.
Umareru: Nakajima Kento and Okura Tadayoshi (brothers)
Othros no Inu: Ryo and Tackey
Maou: Ohno and Toma
Hidarime Tantei Eye: Yamada and Yokoyama
Koshite Akuma: Yuma and Matchy
Yamada Taro Monogatari: Nino and Sho
The Quiz Show 2: Yokoyama and Sho
Yukan Club: Jin, Yokoyama, Junno
Ryuse no Kizuna: Ryo and Nino
Nobuta wo Produce: Yamapi and Kame
Ending Planner: Yamapi and Chinen
These are just some of the ones I love. There’s a bunch more of course. My favorite are the ones that get to play brothers. Of course there are others like Ohno and Matsuoka in Kaibutsu-kun and Inohara and Nakamaru, Koyama and MatsuJun in Lucky Seven even though they didn’t get a lot of screen time. And can’t forget the guest appearances.
My point being that I think that Johnny’s work really well together in dramas. Sometimes they could perhaps be average but sometimes they can be just plain amazing.
